If you live in the New York area or beyond, you do not want to miss the New York Comic Convention that will be held at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan on October 8, 9, and 10.
It is the biggest comic convention on the East Coast and largest in the US next to the San Diego Comic Convention. Last year's NYCC drew 77,000 people.
If you have kids, you don't want to miss Sunday, October 10th because this is the convention's "Kids Day" (12 and under) and they get free admission.
Sure, there are plenty of vendors at the big convention hall to buy everything comics, superheroes and pop culture but on Sunday, there will be a lot of fun things for kids to do, including a costume contest. Detailed events will be announced on the New York Comic Con website and we'll post this info here.
Let us know if you're going.
